Promoting Anti-Bullying
The children took part in a competition to create our school anti-bullying posters for KS1 and KS2. Well done to our school winners who will have their posters displayed around school. Let us all follow our children’s motto of ‘Be a Buddy Not a Bully’.
Advent 2017
Our Year 6 welcomed in the Advent season with a whole school liturgy. They reflected on a time of waiting and lit our first Advent wreath candle. The children planned and delivered the liturgy which had a further focus on helping children through ‘Mission Together’.

Spooky Writing Day 2017
The children enjoyed a day filled with spooky writing activities. The day ended with discos for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Everyone involved had spooky fun!
Winners of our photography competition
Huge congratulations to Liam and Anna Harris who won our photography competition with fantastic photographs of our Seaham coastline. The children received a special t-shirt with their winning image printed on them and framed picture. Well done Liam and Anna from everyone at school.
NSPCC Assembly – A big thank you!
Thank you to all children and parents who were involved in the fund raising for NSPCC. The children learnt lots about keeping themselves safe and had a great week completing the challenges of the dance-a-thon. A fantastic £1839.30 was raised through sponsorship – Featherbed class raising the most. I’m sure the money raised will increase awareness for all children in the area about keeping themselves safe.
